Split Screen example

This is Example and Calvin Harris- We'll be coming back. They use split screen in this video but they use it with a horizontal effect and the fact that it is a extreme close up lets you identify with them both and shows the similarities in the shot.

This screenshot is from Beyoncé's music video 'countdown'. there is lots of uses of split screen showing two different characteristics of beyonce. this creates a cool effect which makes the music video much more interesting and original.
