Interpreting the lyrics

We have interepreted this as a couple who are together that seem to fit as one. The line 'our bodies fit together like a makeshift puzzle' gave us these connotations. This idea fits in well with our initial idea and our idea of the split screen with them following a same routine and are inseperable from each other. We also follow the lyrics with 'waking up from last night' with the prop of a bed for this connotation. The lyrics suggest they have stayed the night together so with the split screen they can be in the same bed rather than serparate rooms which was our initial idea, we will look into both possibilities and decide whether they will be physically together in the split screen or in different locations.
