All of these album covers are visually attractive and grab your attention with the use of colours and contrasting tones. Ellie Goulding is the artist, so it would seem that she is the only feature on all of the covers- simple backgroud, highlighting that it is focussed on her. Light is a big part of all of her album covers!
It is extremely appealing and is recognisable to her. A gold colour is conventional to be seen on a CD cover or other media format of the artist as it relates to her surname of 'goulding,' emphasising her individuality.
The font is simple and rarely changes- this is a good thing as it is conventional to have your brand name on everything, and not confuse others by changing it. Also showing she isnt changing her style of music. She is portrayed to be very natural. This is because of her personality, and the genre of music she plays, but on the front cover she is represented in mainly casual clothes, and is never hinting to 'this is how you should look.'
All of the covers have had interesting effects added to them, making them more niche, which is expected as she performs for a niche target audience
