Feedback from roughcut

Last week we had four groups come and evaluate our rough cut. We were able to watch their reactions, and listen to their comments (as we filmed their responses) alongside a chart they had to fill out, marking against some criteria.

We received mixed responses, but overall some great comments and some positive, constructive criticism! The comments we received was that the narrative worked well with the genre of the song, and the split screen will look effective once the editing is completed and when colour corrector has finished being applied. Our constructive criticism was too fill in the black parts of the video, which was where we hadn't finished putting in our performance footage- also to add something to the green screen, which was what we had planned to do next.

Being able to view their responses was interesting to see what they thought. This is very important as the audience is who you are aiming it at, and if they don't like it- you have to re-evaluate whether it’s the correct audience/genre.
