In the promotional package (digi-pack)/Magazine advert the images we use must look appealing and professional. To edit the images we use will be created in Photoshop and using the techniques we have learnt in media studies. One technique I am particularly fond of is creating a good 'lomo' effect in Photoshop. This is achieved by getting an image, then creating a new layer with the same image on it. Then use the layer effect 'Overlay'. This will give the image some more aesthetically please colour levels. Then messing with the hue, saturation etc can further more improve the image.
