Cd Cover
On this album cover we used bird silhouettes to connote nature and her natural star persona. We have decided to keep this theme throughout, especially as our artist is wearing a bird blouse in our images.
We are also keeping the font of this cover as it looks very girly and the writing looks handwritten which can seem down to earth and relatable to our star persona also.

Eliza Mindel facebook Page
We created our own Facebook page for our artist Eliza Mindel. We are updating her statuses to create a fan base and appeal to her target audience. We decided to promote her through social network as it is cheap and easily accessible, also her target audience is aimed at teenagers and young adults who are likely to have these medias. We are using cross-media convergence in order for this promotion.
Production Meeting 15/10/12
This lesson we are working towards getting our rough cut completed, as the deadline is the 17th. We still have plenty to edit, such as;
- Creating the split screen effect
- Adding the song
- Editing the live action

Production Meeting 11/10/12
Todays meeting consisted creating a facebook page and a twitter account for our artist who we named 'Eliza Mindel' we have promoted her through social networking as this is a free and easily accessible way of promoting and advertising something. We have made her upload promotion on her new single 'The End' and about recording her new album to bring in her fan base and target audience.
We also continued with the editing process however rendering the video takes a long time everytime so we didn't get as much done as we'd hoped to but are on the way to creating the split screen.
Next meeting we hope to further our editing and add pictures to her twitter and facebook account which will be similar pictures to the digipack we will be creating.

Production meeting 10/10/12
Today we uploaded all of our footage from our filming on monday. This took up most of the lesson
as we had over 1000 pictures for our stop motion to upload we are still in the process of uploading our live motion footage too. After transferring our footage and stop motion onto final cut we made 2 sequences for the footage, one of the man and one of the woman and this meant we were able to speed up the footage in order to create our plan of 2 frames per second and to fit with the pace of the song.
Next meeting we hope to further our editing and hopefully start to put together our split screen. We also will start to plan our digi pack and promote our star on social network and make an account for this artist.

stop motion test 2
We have done some test footage of our stop motion before we start our filming. Here we have used one frame per minute and edited it together at this same speed. We have come to the conclusion that this is too slow for the song and although we want quite a jolty effect this is perhaps too jolty and not as smooth as we would like it to be. We have also kept the camera still and handheld. By keeping the camera movement still the stop motion is a lot clearer and not as blurry as it was when the camera was panning. This made us come to the conclusion of trying to keep most of the camera movement still whist doing the stop motion parts to prevent this blurry effect or if we were to use movement we wouldnt rush the movement and be a lot steadier.
stop motion test footage
This test footage was to give us a clearer idea of how we want our stop motion to look and whether we would find the process too challenging. We managed okay with the test footage and came out with the result we wanted. We discovered we would use a frame rate of 2-3 frames per second this video is what it would look like. This is the right pace for us and fits in with the song. We also found with less frames it would be less time consuming and more achievable. We also filmed this from a high angle which would be similar to a lot of angles of our music video and feel it looks effective at this angle with the stop motion. This is the speed we aim to keep at and we now how a clearer idea of what exactly is involved within stop motion and how we are going to go about filming it all.

Pitch Feedback
After we pitched we got some positive and constructive criticism.
Our feedback was:
Our feedback was:
- A well thought out, and organised idea
- We have considered our promo package in detail
- Taken into account our star persona and what she is promoting
- Liked the idea of cardboard cut outs and how it fits in with the surreal stop motion effect
- Liked the idea of Split screen
- Creating a narrative that links with the lyrics - parallelism
- Our narrative was slightly complex
- Would be hard to represent a car crash
- Stop motion is time consuming
- An adventurous idea that could seem unachievable
Ideas suggested to us were:
- With our idea of split screen, we could show the characters passing objects to each other to show they are connected, but not physically together
- The idea of using live motion, with the singer performing to break up the stop motion
Projection meeting
As we did not get the Ellie Goulding track, we were offered four other Goulding Tracks
these were:
these were:
- The End
- Too Much Love
- Mosaic
- Human
- Stop Motion
- Split Screen
- A male and female actor
- Green Screen
